RoBondPRO fine-line gluing and fold-softening fluid dspensing for web press applications

RoBondPro is a microprocessor-controlled fluid-application system for precise dispensing of adhesive and fold--softening fluids in rotary printing presses. Even at high machine speeds of 1,000 m/min, the RoBondPro system applies glue on either an intermittent or continuous basis. Glue and softening volume adjusts automatically with machine speed, so the quality of the application is always guaranteed.

Flat folds are achieved and problems with cracking and brittle paper are eliminated with fold-softening concentrate that is automatically dosed into a water stream. Uniquely designed contact nozzles eliminate undesirable slinging of adhesive and softening fluid at high machine speeds. Nozzles are constructed from engineered ceramics designed for high-abrasion use, and are shaped for optimal delivery of a precise, well-defined adhesive ribbon.
