Established in 1952 and renamed in 2008, Valco Melton, the Valco Cincinnati, Inc. Gluing and Quality Assurance Systems Business Division, has become one of the world's leading suppliers of adhesive application and quality assurance equipment. From simple hand-operated gluers to sophisticated microprocessor-controlled systems, Valco Melton offers the most extensive selection of hot melt and cold gluing equipment available from any single supplier.  Dispensing valves and applicators cover every type of pattern requirement or application method. Verifying glue pattern placement, color registration, UPC code reading, and window detection show our innovative solutions for quality assurance issues.  With its world headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio and manufacturing facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio, Los Angeles, California, Navarra, Spain, and Mittenwalde, Germany, Valco Melton markets its products through direct operations and distributorships in over 52 countries across the globe.

Valco Melton serves a variety of markets, including the paper converting (bookbinding, container, box, bag, envelope, folding carton, corrugated) and packaging, food and beverage, graphics/printing, nonwoven/tissue, wood products, automotive, and other industrial applications.

Valco Melton is divided into a number of manufacturing groups to provide for a variety of specific industry needs.  The Valco Engineering Group designs products for cold gluing application systems, as well as quality assurance products for packagers and paper converters. The Melton Engineering Group designs and manufactures products for hot melt systems and compatible spare parts in two locations: Cincinnati, OH and Navarra, Spain. The Engineered Products Group, previously known as Fluid Kinetics, develops products and complete work cells for non-standard industrial applications and specializes in the design and integration of precision metering, mixing, and dispensing systems. A number of our offices supply waterborne and hot melt adhesives.
